SuperSnake subfeeders for MIG/MAG welding

SuperSnake subfeeders for MIG/MAG welding

SuperSnake is the ultimate synchronized sub-feeding system for those hard-to-reach welding sites.

More reach compared to standard MIG/MAG welding guns

Quality welding results up to 30 meters from the primary wire feeder.

Improved occupational safety

Significantly less time spent on moving between the power source and welding station.

Durable and robust

Lift it, drag it, pull it, it’s designed for welders.

Reliable distance wire feed up to 30 meters

Take quality welding to locations other brands can't reach, improving productivity and personnel safety.

SuperSnake is the ultimate synchronized sub-feeding system for those hard-to-reach welding sites.

Traditional wire feeding systems are large and heavy, and motor pistols and spool gun options increase weight and strain on the operator's wrist. In addition, they are limited by their reach, filler wire size options, or volume welding capability.

SuperSnake liberates your welding team with a combined feeding distance of up to 30m, bringing quality welding to locations other welding brands can't reach.

SuperSnake serves gas—and water-cooled applications, supported by standard Euro-connected welding guns and synchronized with Kemppi's industrial MIG/MAG welders.

Meet the SuperSnake sub-feeder family:

SuperSnake GTX is the latest distance wire feeding champion, serving the excellent X5 FastMig and Master M family. SuperSnake GTX models feature 10/15/20/25-meter cable package options, including a metal protection frame, digital metering, safety isolation switch, wire inch, and gas test buttons as standard.

The SuperSnake GTXHD04 is the ultimate predator for heavy-duty welding worksites, offering a combined feeding distance of up to 30m. It connects directly to your standard X5 FastMig or Master M 350 welding machine

Easy adjustment

Easy adjustment

The SuperSnake GTX and GTX04 user interfaces allow the welder to adjust parameters easily, including manual wire feed speed and voltage control or automatic power regulation and fine-tuning.

Powerful and durable wire feed mechanism

Powerful and durable wire feed mechanism

SuperSnake GTX offers a compact, quick-release twin-drive wire feed mechanism. Automatic wire loading ensures trouble-free filler wire loading up to 30 meters from the primary wire drive system. The SuperSnake GTX04HD has a strong, accurate, and easily adjusted 4 x 4 wire drive mechanism. Inside the cabin, there is also an LED wire line light.

Strong and compact metal protection cage

Strong and compact metal protection cage

SuperSnake GTX's metal protection cage increases robustness and neatly combines, secures, and supports the cable package, connectors, and hoses. Easily opened for fast cable package management, the protection cage can also be used to suspend and hang SuperSnake GTX above the work area. It is included in the sales package or sold separately.

Added safety value

Added safety value

SuperSnake GTX and GTX04HD have a safety lock with an ON/OFF switch that prevents welding with the primary welding system powered on. This is a valuable safety feature during rest breaks or when moving welding locations.

Easy to grab and move

Easy to grab and move

SuperSnake GTX's metal frame and cabinet construction are robust and lightweight, making it easy to move around the work site. The metal frame is included in the sales package.

Fast connection

Making weld cleaning easy and cost-efficient

Making weld cleaning easy and cost-efficient

Welding is all around us. It binds together the metals to build structures essential to our everyday lives. However, beyond the visible sparks and strong connections, there's an aspect often underestimated: weld cleaning. Especially with stainless steels, proper weld cleaning not only improves the aesthetic appearance of the weld but also ensures its strength, durability, and overall quality.

How to weld aluminum

How to weld aluminum

Some metals, like aluminum, have a naturally occurring, tough surface oxide layer. That surface oxide layer must be removed to enable successful welding. In the case of aluminum alloys, the surface oxide layer has a significantly higher melting temperature (approximately 2000°C) than the melting temperature of the aluminum base material (660°C).
